The forecast is for the next 48 hours of current velocities as simulated by CBOFS when it is forced by forecast products from the National Weather Service's North American Model (NAM) and Extra Tropical Storm Surge (ETSS), and the Global operational Real-Time Ocean Forecast System (RTOFS).
