Wind Nowcast
This wind animation was created from the latest CREOFS nowcast for the Columbia River Estuary. The hourly fields were created by spatially and temporally interpolating the wind products from the latest run of the National Weather Service's operational North American Mesoscale (NAM) weather forecast model. These interpolated wind fields were used by CREOFS to generate oceanographic nowcasts.
