Wind Nowcast
This wind animation was created from the latest GOMOFS nowcast for the Gulf of Maine. The hourly fields were created by spatially and temporally interpolating the wind products from the latest run of the National Weather Service's operational North American Mesoscale (NAM) weather forecast model. These interpolated wind fields were used by GOMOFS to generate oceanographic nowcasts.
